Pinetrees offers very comfortable en-suite double bedrooms. Each room has an alarm clock radio and hairdryer. The ground floor bedroom is suitable for a person with disabilities.
Sorry, but we don't have any family rooms.
Pinetrees is a small family business and because of this we are unable to process credit and debit card payments. We can only accept cash and cheque payments with the backing of an up to date guarantee card. We do ask for a £15 deposit to confirm all bookings - cheques to be made payable to Pinetrees please.

NEW - Bicycle Hire |
We are very pleased to work with Cedar Cycles of Wrentham and can offer cycle hire from £15 per day from early April 2008. Once booked, the cycles will be delivered to Pinetrees. We are happy to help with the planning of routes - we have a large stock of local maps and new car-free itineraries which offer ideas on complete day trips including directions, information along the way and much more. Why not nip into the Broads via Reedham Ferry? Or why not take a lovely leisurely ride to the gorgeous seaside destination of Southwold?

Summer Policy |
During the peak summer months, we may not able to help guests with one-night stays at weekends - please try to book at least 2 nights stay. This new policy will take effect from 1st May - 30 September 2008.

Pets Sorry, but we cannot take pets as we have two dogs of our own. |

Breakfasts |
We offer a wide range of organic breakfasts including free-range eggs from our own hens. Although we don't have the Soil Association stamp of approval, all our foods are sourced organically, locally and are free of harmful fertilizers and pesticides and anything which may damage the environment and wildlife. Our breakfasts also include many fairtrade products such as coffee and teas.

Breakfasts are served between 7.30am and 9.00am and can be arranged earlier with prior notice.

Locally you will find a number of good eateries in the attractive market town of Beccles which is less than 1 mile to the centre from Pinetrees. More details are provided in an information folder in each room but we can highly recommend the following:
The Bear and Bells pub in the Old Square www.bearandbells.co.uk The Waveney House Hotel in Puddingmoor on the River Waveney and Prezzo - a new stylish pizza restaurant in Saltgate which is situated in the building that housed the first cinema in Beccles. The Swan House is situated near the Bell tower and offers fine cuisine. Why not visit Pizza Piatto at 23 Smallgate for good quality home made Italian pizza and pasta?

Hot and cold beverages |
We believe that having a kettle in a bedroom for making hot drinks is potentially dangerous and can result in poor standard drinks through the use of instant ingredients and UHT milk. We offer high quality hot and cold drinks on request. We also offer a top up service for flasks.

Packed lunches |
We can provide a wholesome packed lunch for the cost of £3.50 if requested the night before.

Information and facilities |
Each room has a folder full of up to date information about Beccles, local attractions and the surrounding area. We have route leaflets and good facilities for walkers & cyclists. There is a large secure store for bikes plus facilities for bike repairs and we have an outside area for washing cycles, boots etc. We have a drying room and ironing board for guests use.

Visit The Ted Ellis Trust at nearby Wheatfen, Surlingham Broad for a wonderful day out with nature! You will also find plenty of Suffolk Wildlife Sites to visit - some of the best in the country for bird life.
